REVER updates: May 2022
At REVER we are committed with transparency. Following this precept, we will provide monthly pills of our activity and our main working lines. Follow us in this amazing journey, it will take us far!
Over May, REVER maintained its positive trend from previous months. We are seeing great acceptance from all types of eCommerces, which view our solution as a game changer in order to solve their current pains with returns.
On the one hand, large eCommerces see REVER as a straightforward and integral solution that enables them to organize what currently is one of the most chaotic processes they have: returns.
Similarly, smaller businesses have shown great interest in the model after seeing that it helps them scale their operations and solves their pains regarding product returns.
In what is set to be a cornerstone of Rever’s growth, the Shopify version of our product is already live. With a simple integration eCommerces will be able to have access to the full product offering.
Finally, if you check the Spanish press, on May 23rd our $1million pre-seed round was publicly announced. Our business model and our team have been trusted by GFC and leading European funds as well as top Business Angels such as Oscar Pierre.
Now it is time for some gas!
Throughout May 2022 the Rever team grew significantly, following the implementation of the forecasted product roadmap for Q2.
In the tech department, Eric Valls and Roger Martínez have joined as backend developers.
Eric joins REVER after his professional experience at Glovo and after creating his own platform for management of university alumni communities. He holds a Mathematics and Computer Science degree from UPC (CEFIS).
Roger has been at Wallapop for the last three years and, prior to that he gathered significant experience as a software engineer. He holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from UPC.
Besides these hirings, REVER also remains committed to career development for young talents. Under this precept, the basis of a formal summer internship programme has been built throughout May 2022. Starting in June 2022, a set of profiles in their last year of their studies will join the company providing cross-departmental support. We are happy to implement this programme and excited to see profiles grow alongside the development of the company.
The next steps in the execution of the Rever’s strategic roadmap focus on growth driven by lead conversion and product development.
After some testing period with large eCommerces during May 2022, next month we will go fully live with them. We are sure our product will satisfy their needs but we are keen to see how we can use these real cases to expand and improve our product offering.
